After receiving many support from her instgram followers . Kamara Bown used her social media platform to brand her afro crochet braid styles. She created the brand rawwintuition from her self taught back ground in photography and protective styles .She began working with beauty influencers and event planners such as Dunnio Osonya to show case her Style. Her big break came when she was introduced to singer and songwriter jhene Aiko to create the faux locs for music video “ The Pressure”.
The reveal of the faux locs grabbed the attention from many social media followers and creative in the industry. Many wanting to know how they can get the same style and what technique she used to achieve it. From that moment on kamara has made a name for her self as a protective hair stylist. She’s continues to provide quality service for her clients and create new hairstyles to fit each client needs. Her warm and inviting personality has been the reason why so many of her clients continue to sit in her chair. She takes her time and makes sure that every client is satisfied. Now Kamara is on a new venture, she plans to launch a texture wig line dedicated to the women who love big hair. With the lack of natural hair wigs in the beauty industry kamara wanted to create a line for every day working women who struggle to maintain the length or curls of their hair. Each wig is hand made to fit the customers exact head size and customized for the most natural look.
